Sheila Elaine Evarts

Sheila E. Evarts, 72, of Waterbury, passed away on April 20, 2023 at Beacon Brook Health Center in Naugatuck after a brief illness.
Sheila was born on March 24, 1951 in Fayetteville, NC, one of five children of Jewel (Williams) and Fred Melvin. She was the loving wife of Willis Evarts for 55 years.
Sheila was a certified nursing assistant, working at Cheshire Convalescent Center and Eastview Manor for many years.

In addition to her husband, she leaves behind a son, Will Evarts and his partner Tracy of Torrington and a daughter, Susan Ronalter and her husband Daryl of Wolcott, as well as her two grandsons, TJ Staples of Chicago, IL and Tyler Staples of Wolcott. She also leaves her brother Randy Melvin and his wife Debbie of Fayetteville, NC, aunt Letty Rek of Prospect, aunt June Melvin of NC, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Sheila was predeceased by her brothers, Alex and Charles Melvin and her sister, Ida Belle Brewington all of NC.
