Regina Henault Obituary

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Regina Cecile Henault-Milano.  Born April 17th, 1949 and passed on November 12th, 2023, Regina was a kind and open-hearted person.  She spent her time enjoying life, especially in the company of other open-hearted people like herself. Regina always tried to see the best in everything in the world.  She appreciated all the beauty of the outdoors: the trees, the birds, the animals.  She loved being in the woods to walk and enjoy the open air especially on the sand of Cape Cod when she could get there.  She’s lived from Washington state to Cape Cod Massachusetts to Connecticut and places in between.

She worked as a radio station operator, police dispatcher in Seattle and finally a postal worker in CT which is where she met her husband Agostino Milano.  She appreciated animals more than people.  She loved her cats that has left behind, Polly and Sadie, who miss her terribly.

She is survived by family and friends on both the east and west coasts and her friends at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Cheshire.  She will be greatly missed by her husband who is only beginning to understand God’s plan.

Regina leaves to cherish her love and memory besides her husband Agostino her daughterHeidi Henault of Washington, her step daughter Christina and her husband Dimitrios of Naugatuck and step son Anthony Milano and wife Nicole Sweet of Northfield.  She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Peter Henault of Italy, Karen Masurek, Kate Henault and Cecile Henault and her husband John.  She leaves her cherished grandchildren Nathanial, Alana, Aurelia, Dimitrios Jr. and Savanna as well as her nieces Tia and Liana and many friends. Regina was predeceased by her parents Norman and Helen “Virginia” Henault and brothers David and John.
