Patricia (Walsh) Gaiolini, 87, of Prospect died peacefully at Midstate Medical Center Friday, December 17, 2021, while surrounded by the love of her family. Pat was the loving wife of Joseph Gaiolini for over 65 years. Born in Derby on July 1, 1934, Pat was a daughter of the late John and Gladys Walsh.
Pat, embraced the challenges of Multiple Sclerosis, with grace and dignity throughout the years.
Family was the center of Pat’s life. She met her husband Joe at the Beachcomber restaurant in West Haven after the flood of 1955. It was love at first sight. They married and raised their family in Seymour. Pat’s greatest joys in life centered around being wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid Lady Husky fan, loved hummingbirds, trips with family in the early days and being Joe’s “teammate”. As her grandchildren got older, she had become a confident to them and loved listening to their stories.
Left to cherish her love and memory besides her husband Joe are her son Arman Gaiolini of Ansonia and her daughter Tracy and husband Phillip Baxter with whom she made her home. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Jason and wife Emily Gaiolini, Dalton and wife Gabriela Baxter, Tristan Baxter and Jackson Baxter and great granddaughter, Calah Gaiolini.
Pat was predeceased by her brother John and sister Lily Walsh.
The family would like to thank the MidState Medical Center, each and every staff member in the ED and ICU for the care and support of our mother and our family.
