Kathryn Lovallo, 68, of Naugatuck passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by the love of family on Friday, November 3, 2023. She was the loving wife of Joseph F. Lovallo for over 23 years. Kathy was born in New Haven on January 31, 1955, a daughter of the late Orrin and Patricia (Eastman) Avery,
Kathy was loving, generous and selfless. She was a cook for the local VFW and a local nursing home for almost three decades. She also spent many years as a caterer. Her family was the center of her life. Of course, Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday; her table overflowing with her lovingly prepared delicious foods for her family to savor.
She and Joe enjoyed camping and time outdoors. She was quite a good pool player and was almost always the winner. Kathy loved her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Her family is heartbroken over her passing but is thankful for the love and beautiful memories she leaves with all of them.
Besides her husband Joe, Kathy is mourned by her son Gordon Oliver of OH, daughter Michelle Blanc and her husband Richard Jr of Ga., her step sons Daniel Lovallo and wife Beth of Bethlehem and Brian Lovallo and wife Marina of New Britain. Kathy is survived by her brother Orrin Avery of Ar, and sisters Georgia Allen of Ga, and Patricia Gierke of Naugatuck. She also leaves her adoring grandchildren Zoey Nulty-Oliver, Brett and Anna Blanc, Leanne and Genesis Allen, Hailey Lovallo , Josh Lovallo, Brianna Lovallo, Christina Lovallo and Faith Lovallo as well as her two great grandchildren Adonis Blanc and Storm Allen and many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Kathy is predeceased by her brothers Arthur and Edward Avery.
