Kathleen E. “Kathy” LaCroix, 83, of Woodbury, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury.

She was born on August 24, 1937 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Dr. William Murray and Gertrude (Sullivan) Murray. She was a lifelong resident of Connecticut, with strong family ties to Stonington, CT and Westerly, RI. She graduated from Stratford High School and Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA. She was an elementary teacher in Milford, CT before starting her own family.

Kathleen was married on April 30, 1960 and leaves her husband Ralph W. LaCroix as well as three sons William of Woodbury, John of Rosindale, MA and James of Arvada, CO and a granddaughter Lily of Arvada, Colorado.

She enjoyed camping, having cookouts on the back deck and family visits for approximately 2 weeks each summer. She was a member of St. Teresa’s Roman Catholic Church.

All services are private and at the convenience of the family.
