Jerry Lee Wiggins, 61, of New Haven, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. He was the husband of Victoria Newsome.

He was born on February 4, 1960 in Suffolk, Virginia, son of the late Delaware and Eva (Langston) Wiggins. He was a loving and dedicated father who always tried his best and will truly be missed. Always the life of the party, rest in peace “DJ Dangles”.

Jerry is survived by six children Lenae Eva (Sparks) Cooke and husband Dequanno of New Haven, Deona Sparks of Georgia, Jerry Lee Wiggins, Jr. of Massachusetts, Danesha Parker of Winton, NC, Clanesha Parker of Winton, NC and Derrelle Sparks of Georgia and six grandchildren Kamani, London, Jeremia, DeNore, “RJ” and Malachi. He also leaves behind three brothers Roger Wiggins, Thomas Wiggins and Delaware Wiggins all of New Haven, and the mother of his six children Brenda Sparks of New Haven, along with three nieces Delwana, Tayna and Ivory, a nephew Thomas Jr., many cousins and other extended family.

He was predeceased by two sisters Marie and Diane.
