Genia Stanescki

Genia “Jeannie” (Keparutis) Stanescki, 88, of Waterbury, passed away on January 17, 2021 at Wolcott View Manor. She was the loving wife of the late William “Bill” Stanescki for over 59 years.

She was born on September 26, 1932 in Lithuania daughter of the late Ludwig and Maria (Konig) Keparutis. Jeannie enjoyed sewing, gardening and baking. She deeply loved her family and her husband Bill. She truly enjoyed spending time with her daughter, grandson and granddaughter. To her family, she was pure perfection.

Jeannie is survived by a daughter Sharon Morales and husband Rickie of Waterbury, grandchildren Tevin and Nadia, two brothers Alan Keparutis and wife Merry of Texas and Bruno Keparutis and wife Mary Jane of Tennessee, a sister Irene Dearstyne and husband David of New York, two sisters in law Patricia Keparutis of Thomaston and Suzanne Keparutis of New York, a cousin Regina Bush of Naugatuck, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son Mark Stanescki and two brothers Leo Keparutis and Ziggy Keparutis.
