Andre R. Crenshaw

Andre R. Crenshaw, 66, of West Haven entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the West Haven VA Hospital.  He was born December 10, 1954 in Clinton, North Carolina, a son of the late David L. Crenshaw and Gloria (Butler) Crenshaw. 

Andre proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War.  He enjoyed boxing, chess and was known for having a keen, unique sense of humor.  Andre had an infectious laugh. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Andre leaves to cherish his memory his children; Andre Crenshaw Arrington, Maia Crenshaw Johnson, Tawana Fisher-Canady and Damita Clark, several grandchildren, his sister Priscilla Crenshaw Butler, uncle William Crenshaw and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was predeceased by his daughter Dominique Crenshaw, son Michael Crenshaw and brother David Crenshaw.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday April 12, 2021 at 7 pm at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Rd.
